My family was supposed to stay here for 3 days but after one day, we left. This place gave me the heebie-jeebies! Not only it’s out dated but the whole vibe was off. When reviewing the pictures online, the rooms looked more lit up but that was false advertisement. The lighting was too dim for my liking. When we first arrived, as soon as we walked in the room I felt like I was back in 1985. Just look at the picture of the phone I attached. Oh and the bathroom, what can say…. Small! The people who stayed in our room before left food in our refrigerator and no one cleaned it up prior to our arrival. When we slightly turned up the AC, it made a loud noise and started to smell like smoke in our room. That was scary! I also felt like I was sleeping on bricks all night. The pillows were too hard. I was excited to try breakfast the next morning. I thought maybe the best thing about this place will be the food. Wrong!! The eggs were super watery and the potatoes were cold. Best thing on my plate was the bacon. Just nasty. After breakfast we had enough and left. The best part of the hotel was the hot tub unfortunately. My advice, renovate the whole entire hotel. For a Marriott property, it wasn’t up to par at all. I’ve stayed at so many Marriott properties and this was the worse one.

To whom it may concern,|Thank you for giving me the opportunity to provide feedback here. I travel monthly to various states for business and continue to be so impressed with my experiences staying with you at the Westin North - San Antonio. Your supervisor, Anthony, has been remarkable!! This has been consistent every stay. Hospitality is the culture and experience one feels while staying in your hotel. Anthony always goes above and beyond to provide a smooth check-in process, comfortable accommodations, and professionalism. He meets guests with humor and kindness, and always goes the extra mile to accommodate specific requests! Small gestures truly go a long way and we appreciate it! |I run a business in San Antonio, travel frequently and would not stay anywhere else. The Hotel is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. I enjoy all the extra features including a clean and organized gym, hot tub, pool, and bar which I so enjoy after a hard day's work. Weston always empowers and energises me to have a productive day. Thank you!

Positive: It was an easy check in process and they allowed early check in. Negative: On a four-day day in my room was never cleaned. The Room furniture is extremely dated. It seems like the hotel can use some TLC.. we were told breakfast is until 11 AM. We assumed the buffet was included, but was told after eating that it was not.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Westin. The rooms are definitely dated, but charming. The carved wooden headboards, ornate mirrors, older carpets, oversized furniture, the cool dry air, and even the deep low rumble of the air conditioning give the hotel that classic Texas feel from the 1980s. The property is also very clean and clearly well maintained by people who take their jobs seriously. In fact, the staff were the highlight of the stay. Everyone was warm, professional, and impressively responsive. Requests made at the front desk were immediately relayed to the right team, and things like extra towels arrived almost before we got back to the room. The restaurant staff were equally accommodating and pleasant. A few drawbacks: there is no lounge at this property, and for a prominent Marriott hotel near major corporate offices and premier medical centers, it would be nice to see clearer halal-, kosher-, and vegetarian-friendly dining options on menus. The rooms could also use better lighting, especially near the luggage storage area. Overall though, we loved the stay and especially the people. The furnishings may be older, but the cleanliness, atmosphere, and outstanding staff more than made up for it.

We had a really great experience staying here. The front desk supervisor Anthony was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we arrived. He was very quick to help with anything we needed and made us feel genuinely taken care of throughout our stay. You can tell he truly cares about the guests and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable.||We also had a great experience with the bartender at the hotel lobby bar, Erik. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and made the atmosphere feel very relaxed and enjoyable. Both of them really helped make our stay memorable. Thank you again for such wonderful hospitality!

My truck has been broken into twice in the last three months while staying here. In April, my truck was broken into overnight while parked in the third row. At that time, overnight security was on site. The front desk staff handled the situation well. They were helpful with the incident report and promptly comped my room, which I appreciated. I decided to give the hotel another chance, but unfortunately, it happened again. This time, my truck was parked in the second row closer to the building. There was overnight security present along with two large camera security towers. One of them very close to my vehicle. When I spoke with the manager, the response was disappointing. He was quick to deflect responsibility to the company that owns and operates the parking lot and was unwilling to offer any accommodation or support. Given the presence of security personnel and now surveillance equipment, it’s clear there is an ongoing issue that has yet to be adequately addressed. I would caution others on parking here overnight.

Fast check-in. Be aware that you have to pay for parking on-site, I think it's $10 per day. Good views of San Antonio from the top floor. Room was clean and well-appointed. Weekend rate for the room was a good value. Indoor pool is a plus. Definitely look forward to my next stay.

After 20 years of military service, I can honestly say I’ve had better accommodations in military barracks than I experienced at this hotel. I booked a room specifically because I was attending a military event being held in one of the hotel’s ballrooms. The convenience of celebrating with fellow service members, having onsite childcare available for our children, and ending the evening in what was advertised as a four-star hotel seemed ideal. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. From the moment we entered the building, we were greeted by a strong musty odor that lingered throughout the property. I paid over $190 for a room with two queen beds, only to arrive well after the designated check-in time and be informed that my reserved room type was unavailable. Instead, we were offered a king room with a pull-out sofa. The room itself was noticeably dated. The only aspect that met expectations was the king bed, which was comfortable and had quality bedding. The pull-out sofa, however, was another story entirely. It was in poor condition, and the mattress—manufactured in 2013—was uncomfortable, worn out, and well past its prime. There were no extra linens or pillows in the room for the sofa bed. When we attempted to contact the front desk from the room, we waited more than 20 minutes without assistance and eventually had to go downstairs ourselves. While the sheets provided were clean and comfortable, the blanket supplied for the sofa bed was unacceptable. The photos speak for themselves. Ultimately, my children ended up sleeping in the king bed with us because the pull-out mattress was so uncomfortable. What should have been a convenient and enjoyable stay became a disappointing experience. Given the Marriott name and the property’s advertised four-star rating, I expected a much higher standard of service and accommodations. Unfortunately, this stay did not reflect the quality, comfort, or professionalism typically associated with the Marriott brand.
